On June 4, 1972, Joseph Brodsky left his family home on Pestel Street in Leningrad forever, marking the early wave of Russian emigration. In 2022, 50 years passed since his forced departure from the USSR. In collaboration with artist Zhenya Rzheznikova, studios Medium, Immerse Lab, MDM-Maket, and the Anna Akhmatova Museum, we created a `time capsule`— an augmented reality installation that reconstructs Brodsky’s lost home.
