After the end of the six‑year war between Arstotzka and Kolechia, the city of Grestin is divided into two parts: Western and Eastern. A checkpoint is opened at the border. The inspector is forced to make difficult decisions day after day — to separate and reunite families, to decide people’s fates. This time, his friend asks him for a favour.
